Yes, it is true that Larouche's politics are extremely far out. I won't
get into a discussion of how far out here, but they are very strange. He
has gone from extreme left to extreme right positions until now he is in a
world of his own. I think he is now serving time for tax evasion in an
american prison, which may or may not be a negative thing depending on your
political views. If you have a great deal of credibility in the mainstream
scientific world, and you want to keep it, it would probably not be a good
idea to publish there. On the other hand alternative science people DO
read it, the scientific articles are often quite interesting and the
magazine has very wide circulation-- it is often the only magazine with
alternative science articles on the local newstands here (Seattle).
