It *WAS* at www.onsale.com -- there's only one problem. Remember how I
said +5 karma? Someone must've been listening when I said that and biased
the world against me. Truthfully. :) I went looking for the copy of Dashed
Against the Rock at www.books.com -- it was there prior -- then it was
reported out of print. Damnit. I'm having them search for it. Meanwhile I
return to onsale to bid on my new K6 and the ad for it was PULLED!
Bidding wasnt scheduled to end until Noon on the 13th. Nobody had bid on
it yet, it was still at its opening price of $25 (realize that this is a
AUCTION system - they weren't simply selling them for $25 - they were
expecting folks to bid - I just got lucky) ... but yet they pulled it.
I'm bitching at customer (dis)service -- but I expect I probably wont get
an answer out of them. Now how cruel is THAT?! :(
