Has anyone heard of or know of a unit called a "VIBROMETER"?
I just saw a short clip on TV about some company in the U.S.A that uses
this laser beam device with built-in digital display, to read vibrations
off laundry appliances, walls, furnace ductwork, floors, etc.
It is mounted on a short tripod stand, positioned on the floor in the
center of rooms and projects a spot of red light on items under test.
It is used to assist Construction Companies in developing acoustically
quieter homes.
I want to know if it can read Frequencies or is it just for Decibels.
