[day 53] More humanity - less insanity

The 14 day countdown already started. We got media attention. That is great. We are now 'far-left', 'anti-Jew' and 'anti-American', 'conspiracy theorists', and so on. This is what you get when one messes with media. Be sure they will be at the protest to blow up anything that goes not as planned. To ask reactions from the man in the street. It's hard to believe this is so important to them. The polarization, making us look like extremists. I hope they earn at least a bit of money with it.

Our country - Belgium - is now in complete chaos thanks to some unexperienced politicians and media trying to blow everything up. After more than two months reporting every wrong accent, point, comma of the negotiations on forming a new government, and the Northern part depicting the Southern part as incompetent negotiators - and the other way around, they decide to poll the 'man in the street' once more. The man in the Northern streets (the Flemish - Dutch speaking part) says with a comfortable 50% that Belgium simply should spit up. Once more media managed to fool their customers. In no other business around the globe a company or product can mess with their customers like that. Strangest thing: the customers like it, they keep paying for their newspaper.

The real fact is nobody cares. They just want to split it because their television subliminally told them French speaking people are evil and taking away their money. Leave Belgium as it is. Why split? What is the motivation? Sadly, there's only one motivation: money. We have a government king-size crisis, while children in our ex-colony don't get food, let alone education. And while the Northern part mainly lives in luxury (digital TV (at least one in the living room), broadband internet, at least one or two cars, ...) Some decades ago, the Southern Belgians had more money than the Northern economy. They didn't split it. It reminds me of Pink Floyd's 'Us and them' song. It's again the same tale: give your population an enemy (here in Belgium that can even be the other 30% of the population), and your population wont ask questions on other subjects. You know: things like 15% of our country is poor (and rising), still participating in and illegal war in Afghanistan, etc...

So it is wrong to blame it all on the media. If we all would stop watching the lie-selling television broadcasts, reading polarizing newspapers, then we could send them a message. It's a never ending loop mechanism. The customers keep getting fooled. The companies keep fooling the customers. It's a self-protecting environment! And exactly those people keep telling that IF 9/11 or any other big historical terrorism event would be staged, those media would certainly bring out the truth.

Give me a break. Media companies know that fooling the public is working. They don't have to compete with each other, because the are all owned by the same shareholders. They all report the same messages because of that and the fact there are only a handful of news-agencies feeding their telexes anymore. Again, these are the facts.

So for me it is not only a countdown to the march. It is also a countdown to the day people will start thinking on their own again. It is in human's nature to look up to a leader. It is in human's nature to abuse power too. But it is not in human's nature to kill it's own species. But something makes us do so anyway.

But the good news is all the e-mails we receive. This revolution will not be televised. This revolution won't be in your newspaper or magazine. This revolution will not start in one city and go to the other. This revolution is not red, blue, left or right, but one for more humanity and less insanity. This is a revolution will be almost invisible. We are no terrorists. We are people with an own opinion, not a part of the non-existing public opinion. We need no journalists to think for us. We just need facts. We look through lies. We are united, we are small, we can only be stopped in one way: take away the internet from us.

Dear members of the UN council,
I suggest you do that as soon as possible. Meanwhile enjoy the hundreds waking up thanks to the internet - every day. The only thing you can do while this happens is keep your population stupid, fool around with them, keep them money-hungry, and rise the price of water.

Dear members of the revolution,
See you on 9/9.
