Tuesday I had the last big meeting with the Brussels Police Department. All went well, and I'm hoping to receive authorization from Mayor Thielemans as soon as possible. The meeting was a standard procedure with a member of the Belgian State Security, public transport, and other public services. The biggest issue was if there was any possible conflict with religion. As we just base ourselves on facts and political issues, we have no intentions to discriminate or promote any religion.

We now have 40 members on the coordination room, who are probably responsible for the fact you are visiting this website right now. They promote and remain alert for any violent, racist or other kind of discrimination organization or individual to join our peaceful protest rally. They are great people, and without them I would be able to make this rally what I want it to be. Now 20 protesters have confirmed they will be present via our website. This number makes me believe we might have 500 protesters under normal weather conditions. It's also very difficult to predict that number, even if we were two days before the rally. Every day, more and more people are visiting this website, and every day more people decide to come, to join and to put an article on their website.

I also get a lot of individual responses, all of them are positive. It's heartwarming to read all these comments, and I doing my best to answer them. Ironically, media are announcing an anti-islamic protest on September 11th here in Brussels, and still ignoring our protest. That's the world we're facing today. Protests with solutions and a positive voice are ignored, while those promoting violence get free advertising. Worse: the other rally might actually give them a reason to soften the attention for the 6th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. One would almost think media are only good as a propaganda machine.
