Yesterday a worker came to repair the roof. The guy talked about the strange weather and what 'they' all said about the climate change. He didn't believe all the stuff the politicians said. "They are using it to find more money", he said. "I do know what really causes this enormous rain in July", he claimed. "If you ask me, these polluting cars are the undeniable cause for it". I agreed with him. I didn't want to argue, didn't want to wake him up. All I could think of was that this must be the freedom of speech anno 2007. Everyone has an opinion. Even worse, everybody needs to have an opinion. The voice of 'the man on the street' must be heard. In my opinion freedom of speech is where you can withstand that pressure and just say "I'm sorry, but I can't comment on that, I am not properly informed, let alone that I will just copy what 'they' say.".

The press release is ready. It is now being translated into Italian, Swedish, Spanish, Dutch, German and French. It will be released on Tuesday, July 17th at midnight, but it'll be probably earlier on this site. We're still desperately looking for a Danish translator.

All assistance is still welcome though. Especially the US needs to know about this. We're hoping lots of politicians and members of Amnesty International, Doctors Without Frontiers, the Red Cross, the Unions, Greenpeace, Oxfam and other NGO's will join this demonstration as well.
