I was curious about that problem printing out patents
from the IBM site, as I know I've done it with no
problems, so I experimented to find out what the mix
was.
With Netscape (4.6 is what I used), you have a 'print
preview' option that allows you to print full
perfectly formatted pages from either the USPTO or IBM
site.
With IE5, it will print but includes the frames...
I printed out the Mead patent with no glitches, using
Netscape...so it does work, I love the print preview
function, WYSIWYG..<g>...
