Received this email from John Bedini with a diagram of
the transistor circuit and his suggestion to use an
MPS8099 or a 2N3055 transistor, the URL is updated

Dan

This motor is not this hard to do, the top of the coil
is where you start your windings, you are winding two
different color wires so not to get mixed up.

The wire says red goes to the + on the battery and the
green wire goes to the base of the transistor to a 10
ohm resistor to start with.

At the bottom of the coil you also have two wires say
red and green, the red one goes to the collector and
the green one goes to the emitter of the transistor
which is ground or -- negative on the battery. Here
attached is one more drawing.

PS. also many are asking for a simple kit to do this,
I must see if this can be done for a fair price.
