I never heard of this Dr. Reid or anyone named Bevans,
nor could I find anything on the net about them. Did
look up copper sulfate and it appears to be used as an
algicide and is rather toxic.

The torsion pendulum experiment is reminiscent of the
electrified pendulum of Saxl and the long distance
signal analogous to Cleve Backster's 'primary
perception' where living tissues apparently
communicate over any distance when separated.

I for one would certainly be interested in any
information, links or references you might have to
Reid or Bevans experiments.

Come to think of it, Gustave LeBon wrote about the
exquisite sensitivity of lead to a wide range of
vibration, the books, the 'Evolution of Matter' and
the 'Evolution of Energy', both published around 1900.
If you have a spare $100, I would recommend you buy
both of these very rare books (copies of course) from
Borderlands at;

When the Manhattan project was in effect, many books
relating to radioactive materials and processes were
removed from libraries and never returned. These two
books were included because they also deal with
radioactivity, but not all that much.

LeBon was a remarkable man and there are numerous
fascinating experiments in the books, one of which is
the first ever 'cold fusion' type effect where traces
of mercury in distilled water were poured on aluminum
which became very hot.

EVOLUTION OF MATTER
Dr. Gustave Le Bon.
This is the copy of a rare and sought-after manuscript
from 1906. Scientific researches into invisible
radiations, phosphorescence and electromagnetic waves,
and emanations from "radioactive" elements.

EVOLUTION OF FORCES
