Anna,
Joe Champion was NOT imprisoned for coming up with a process for making
gold. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison for violation of the terms of
his parole. Joe is serving that sentence now in the Arizona State Prison.
At the time his parole was revoked he was continuing to work on
transmutation experiments but that work was not the reason for his
incarceration.
The experiment listed below, in addition to a number of other experiments,
can demonstrate anomalous production of gold. It also demonstrates
increased quantities other platinum group elements in addition to gold.
Quite a few of the experiments that Joe published are capable of producing
scientifically significant quantities of precious metals. But the
experiment listed below and all the others that Joe published do not
produce commercially viable quantities of precious metals.
Note the ingredients in the recipe you listed below. Think about gunpowder
- or more accurately black powder and what three basic ingredients go into
making it. What you have in this case is a container of black powder with
some PGE metals and a dangerous Mercury compound. In the second sentence of
#2 below it starts by saying "After the ignition". That means it is burned.
It has to be done in an open container. If the container were closed
instead of burning it would simply explode. As it is the "ignition" is
violent. It produces a miniature volcano with sparks, flames and copious
clouds of billowing smoke. Most of the material that remains after the
ignition does not remain in the container. It is spewed all over the place
during the ignition. If you should decide to try it I recommend that you
stay upwind as far away from it as you can. You also better be sure there
are no humans or animals downwind from you when you light the damn thing.
