When I looked at this patent I noticed it referenced the 2 Johnson patents I
knew of and a third. 4,151,431 4,877,983 and 5,402,021.

I am almost positive that TLC or Discovery did a show which displayed a
similar device to the one in 5,402,021. It was a space show or perhaps at
train show (alternative to high tech mag levs)

In that show the guy gave it a small push and the magnetic cart suddenly
accelerated across the rail at a pretty good clip.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on where to get info on how to
make magnets?
I'm really looking for a way to build a Johnson PMM and see if/how well it
works. But it requires some uniquely shaped magnets which your just not
gona find off the shelf. 8)
