The Los Angeles Times has just published an aticle on Black Silicon.
Pretty interesting.

It appears to have an increased efficiency in photovoltaic cells, and
also absorbing light.
It makes one wonder if the military might already be using some
derivative of Black Silicon in stealth technology.
Certainly worth a read.
