Hi Folks!

This has been around awhile but Barbara Flick sent me a copy
of it so I thought it an excellent and telling observation
of how screwed up NASA and orthodox science is. They have
more money than common sense and as long as we let them have
all that money to do with as they please, we are their
cashcows.

I think its time for NASA and its managers and director to
be dismantled and start afresh with a new Space
Administration that has LOGICAL goals, i.e.

a working, fulltime populated space station (with civilians
and some military, all trained for their specific tasks on
the station),

either in orbit around the planet or better yet at the L5
point where gravity between the moon and the earth is
balanced, requiring only small corrections to keep it in
place,

followed by a full lunar colony.

I know the Russians don't have anything to brag about but
they did build the first Sputnik as well as the Mir space
station. It is peculiar that the US, Russia and other
countries, over the last 40 years have not chosen to go
'back' to the moon.

Space Race

During the heat of the space race in the 1960's, the U.S.
National Aeronautics and Space Administration decided it
needed a ball point pen to write in the zero gravity
confines of its' space capsules.

After considerable research and development, the Astronaut
Pen was developed at a cost of $1 million. The pen worked
and also enjoyed some modest success as a novelty item back
here on Earth.

The Soviet Union, faced with the same problem of writing in
zero gravity --- used a pencil.
