Hi,
I initially wasn't sure if it was working or if that was the effect
either. It is important to have the geometry of both the cone and magnet
correct for this to work. They have to be within the right proportions
of each other. When I set the pyramid in the hole I can feel it being
pushed. Try this. Set the pyramid in the hole and angle it. Then push
with your lightly with one or two fingers to push it up to center. You
can feel it pushing back, and it will spin around you finger instead of
going to center. Always handle it really lightly and you can feel the
forces pushing it. I found that the more I played with it the more I
could feel the push. For example take the pyramid, let it lightly rest
on your fingers and lower it into the center of the magnet. It resists
the center. Also when I tied the pyramid to a string and hung it over
the magnet the corners wouldn't want to go over the center. I tried to
move the pyramid so it would, but the corners would sneak out. The most
important thing is to remember that the effect is weak, it won't go
flying off like a potato cannon. The effect is weak, but it is there,
you just have to be looking for it. I am currently assembling
documentation about this for my site. By the way I just made a big
update, I have discovered that my motor drive was wrong. My site is @
