One other thing to mention, as anyone who knows basic chemistry will know,
when you electrolyze sodium chloride, potasium chloride etc. they create new
compounds, i.e: chlorates (releasing chlorine gas in the process). Thease
compounds are very powerful and quite toxic oxidising agents, their uses
include explosives and herbicides, definately not good.
Just thought I'd mention it.
