You might want to print out or save this page while it
is up. It deals with the Swiss Electrostatic power
generator called the Testatika;
http://www.starwon.com.au/~rayd/swiss.htm
'The unit is hand started by revolving the two discs
in opposite directions, until the converter was
charged up to such a degree that it synchronised
itself and continued to rotate soothly and noiseless,
without any input source of power.
A centrally mounted disc of about 4 inches in diameter
was glimmering in the colours of the rainbow. After
only a few seconds the Leyden jars were ready for
operation, so that 300 volts D.C., with a current of
10 amperes could be extracted at the terminals, and
this could be done continuously for hours, or for
years, without any wear!
To demonstrate the power available, connections were
made to both, alternately, a high power incandescent
lamp or a heating element, each of which was rated at
380 volts service.
The brilliant light from the lamp was blinding, and
completely illuminating the hall to th e furthest
corner. The heating element became so hot, after a few
seconds, they could not be touched.'
-----------------------
I don't know of any reliable duplication of these
claims but the thing that has intrigued me all these
years is the slanted electrodes that produce a
self-driving action to keep it spinning, called the
Poggendorff effect.
This machine and the claims revolving around it have
been circling for over 12 years now and it is truly a
pity that the possessors of the information won't
share or at the very least sell construction plans to
allow others to build and use it. Talk about wrong
thinking...
