Partial invisibility?

Hi Trevor et al!

I received an email from Trevor about an unusual photograph that is
being indicated as 'proof' of the Philadelphia Experiment....I've tried
to stay away from that as it has become somewhat of a cult these days
but you might want to check out theory and the photo of the
semi-transparent spool of thread which is posted at;

http://www.viewzone.com/philadelphia22.html

Well, having worked in photography and electronics for 22 years, I have
to say the photo could be faked...its more a blur/streak of brown
similar to the table top.

The theory is intriguing but I think it needs a lot more proof than that
or at the VERY least, many more photos showing other objects on that
table and other surfaces to duplicate the effect...now that would be a
lot more believable...

I have found over the years that the Philly experiment is almost a
cult...people just get completely taken up by it and lose all sense of
rational thinking.....I do think something odd happens with high
intensity energy, whether acoustic, magnetic or electric, but I don't
have any details, references or backup material to prove it.

If that was so, there should be photos all over the place as well as
witnesses who have seen these fadings and such...I'll post the URL to
the list and we'll see what people think about it...personally, it needs
a lot more proof than that one photo...thanks Trevor!
