John Schnurer's 2nd experiment
This experiment used a 1" YBCO disk with sample masses resting on top,
similar to Fred Rounds' work. The disk and samples were suspended within
liquid nitrogen from one end of a balance beam.
Time-varying magnetic fields were somehow applied. The other end of the
beam had a counterweight suspended from it, which rested on a digital
scale.
He claimed to obtain reproduceable weight reductions of around 2%.
Eyewitness accounts indicate that boiling of the liquid nitrogen was
obviously the cause of any weight change, as a direct correlation
appeared to exist between applying power to the coils in the LN2,
boiling of the LN2, and weight changes.
