magnetic orgone detector?

I just read a message on the orgone mailing list describing an experiment
with a coil wrapped around two bucking permanent magnets, i.e. Bedini's
magic scalar generator. The person said that if he connected a voltmeter to
the coil, it would show a spike if anyone moved near the magnets. This
sounds really simple to check -- in fact, I might do it if I ever find the
time.
