Pyramids...the intrigue continues.

Hello all in this wonderful community we call the Internet (can I get any
cheesier?)

Ever since the discussion on the device Jerry Decker talked about a while
back which used a pyramid, some magnets and a piece of paper on which an
"event" was written that you wanted a greater likely hood of coming true,
I've had a greater sense of intrigue in the Great Pyramid of Giza. This is
not new agey, just an interesting series of "coincidental" stories.

The first thing that struck me was something I was discussing with Don Adams
about a week back. I remember hearing that if you compared the lengths of
the internal parts of the great pyramid with that of a calendar (don't ask
me what the time frame of the calendar was...possibly starting from one of
the supposed times of its construction to the end of one supposed time of
human history...or using pyramid inches...oi, oi, oi...) then compare the
beginnings of each significantly different section of the pyramid with
certain events in our history we apparently find that at those dates
something "earth changing" occurred. (If anyone knows the full story please
post a response to the list)

That I believe I saw on the television (Oh wondrous god of information...or
is that mis-information). The people on the show I believe heralded it as
"proof that who ever built the pyramids could also predict the future...and
that they designed it in such a way that people could decipher it and save
themselves from the approaching doom." Or was that on another show? I
loose count...

I at the time I thought "hey cool, how did they do that?" in the same type
of manner as one would think about a magic trick. But now I have Jerry's
wee pyramid to think about. Could it be that who ever built the great
pyramid didn't build it to say "I can predict all this...I am all wondrous,"
but "lets just lean on the odds a little and try and increase the likely
hood for 'this' to happen at 'that' time. You might say that if this was
the case, why didn't they carve out their intents on a block of granite
instead of creating an incredibly complex series of chambers and tunnels.
But if you look back at some of the works that were done at a lot of
archaeological sites in the world, the really old ones that is, you will see
that people aimed for geometry rather that words. Geometry WAS their
language, and also appears to be universal with its meanings extending
beyond vowels and consonants. In some cases, geometry would be, how you say
"less clumsy." However, It could also be thought as a system to hide your
intents...oh well...

Now I've come across another interesting piece of information dealing with
the Great Pyramid. In the book "Gods of the New Millennium" (which I'm
still reading, so don't spoil it for me) by Alan F. Alford from around page
256 onwards he talks about some interesting "myths".

One that is of great interest is from a Babylonian text talking about a war
between the gods and an object called an Ekur, which Alford suggests was
actually the Great Pyramid. From the sounds of things one "god" took refuge
inside the pyramid. I might be better just copying the section...the
spelling errors are mine...

--------------
The other evidence we have to confirm the war of the gods is the physical
condition of the great pyramid itself. We have already seen how its
features correlate with the details of one Sumerian poem. Now we find
further clues which prove that it was the same Ekur where the war of the
gods ended in a frustrating siege.

The first clue is a mysterious well which has been excavated in the Great
Pyramid's Subterranean Chamber. One Babylonian text confirms that this well
was dug during the siege by Ra's brother Nergal, in order to boost the
pyramid's defences:

The Water-Stone, the Apex-Stone,
the ...-stone, the ...
... the lord Nergal
increased its strength.
The door for protection he ...
To heaven its Eye he raised,
dug deep that which gives life ...
... in the House
he fed them food.

After the surrender of the Enkiite gods, the ancient texts describe how the
victorious Ninurta entered the Ekur and disabled it. A detailed description
of his actions, deciphered by Zecharia Sitchin, provides further
corroboration to identify the Ekur as the Great Pyramid and thus to
authenticate the war of the gods as a historic event.

It is clear from the ancient text, known by its abbreviated name 'Lugal-e,'
that Ninurta was frustrated to see the conflict ended by peace settlement
rather than a crushing defeat. He therefore vented his anger on the
instruments left inside the Ekur. Inspecting its 'stones' (crystals?),
Ninurta determined their destiny - to be destroyed or taken away. In what
was probably the Queen's Chamber, he found the SHAM 'Destiny' stone, which
had a red glow. Ninurta ordered it to be dismantled and destroyed, claiming
that the stone's powers had been used 'to grab me to kill me, with a
tracking which kills to seize me'. The stone is described in a poem to
Ninharsag as having 'an outpouring like a lion, whom no one dares attack'.
Today the enigmatic niche in the Queen's Chamber stands empty, its purpose
otherwise unexplained.

Ninurta then passed up the Grand Gallery towards the King's Chamber. There
he found the GUG 'Direction Determining' stone: 'then by the
fate-determining Ninurta, on that day, was the Gug stone from its hollow
taken out and smashed'. He also ordered the removal of the triple
portcullises: the SU Vertical stone, the KA.SHUR.RA "Awesome, Pure which
Opens' stone, and the SAG.KAL 'Sturdy Stone which is in Front'.

On his return down the Grand Gallery, Nunurta destroyed or removed, as
appropriate, the multi-coloured 'stones' which created the rainbow like
effect. The text clearly names 22 of these pairs of stones or crystals,
whilst others are unfortunately illegible. Today there are 27 pairs of
empty niches in the walls above the ramps of the Grand Gallery and one
further pair of empty niches on the Great Step.

Finally, the Great Pyramid's capstone, the UL "High as the Sky' stone, was
removed. In the light of the 'Lugal-e' text, it is rather amusing that some
authors have interpreted the lack of a capstone as a deliberate design by
the Pyramid's builders.

I'll stop copying there...there is much text before and a little after this
section that is also quite interesting...but I have to be fair on those that
are not overly interested in this type of thing.

RIGHT. The bit that stuck our for me was the suggestion back then that the
pyramid at one stage or another was used for influencing statistical
outcomes. From the sounds of things it was used to help influence an event
in a war time situation. If the above holds a sprinkling of truth,
especially that concerning the stones, then could it be that a certain
resonating frequency within the stones, and a pyramids energy amplification
effect (I know some say that a pyramid disperses the resonating properties
of that which is inside it over a wide area, not actually amplifying
it...however this is my posting and I say that it is used as an amplifier.
However I do lean towards a suggestion that a pyramid is actually a
stimulant for the surrounding area, and if positioned correctly, say on a
grid line, which the Great pyramid apparently is, and also that it is built
to a certain size that is harmonious to the size of the earth (which would,
I believe, also to be a big factor) then the effects will cover a greater
area)...ah where was I...oh yes, which would increase its influence over a
greater area. Hmm, now, would the geometry inside the pyramid alter the way
that the resonating crystals would be amplified. My guess is probably yes,
in which case the stone was there to make the influence stand out more,
possibly on a frequency which is more "receptive" to those suggestions
making a desired outcome more likely.

I could go on all night with this stuff, like I could even say that possibly
the geometric size and shapes of the Great Pyramid were actually designed to
alter a situation in "the gods time," and when the altercation was over no
one cared to dismantle it so somehow it started working again and its event
influencing time line is now stuffing our time up, or it was designed for
our time, or it was a tomb designed for an Egyptian King and everyone, apart
from the Egyptologists, have their wheels turning but their hamsters are
unfortunately dead.
