What the bleeding hell? The timing of this is extremely weird. For one
reason, because I just found a station on which I can hear his show... For
another reason, it happened right after Crowleymas, at which time weird
things always happen according to R. A. Wilson. (Not the least of which
weirdness, of course, is that the country takes a day off to celebrate the
misadventures of someone who was to exploration what Marconi was to radio,
and who is revered by Catholics even though his signature hints that he was
into something completely other.) On top of all this, we have the mass
pigeon lossage, the disappearance of 60 people in a cult in Colorado, and I
just now heard that 10000 people in Georgia are waiting for the BVM. I hate
to think of what's going to happen next! (OK, I just heard it -- thousands
of dead lobsters in Maine!)
On a non-occult note, I certainly can't second-guess Art because I have no
idea what he's going through, but if someone were threatening *me* and *I*
had a live nationwide radio show, I'd blow the lid off the whole thing.
What would they do then?
(The other thing, which I almost hate to say because, again, I have no idea
what's really going on, is that Art covered a lot of topics that, to be
honest, I think are bogus. I wonder if, instead of some real conspiracy
threatening him, he's just got some nut case, and is too credulous or
paranoid to see it. Again, I mean no ill will toward him, but I know how
stress can suspend one's critical thinking because it's happened to me.
(Nothing of this magnitude, of course.))
