Are you sure...I have always been taught that the North Geo-pole of the
planet is actually the same as the south pole of a magnet, and that the
South Geo-Pole is the same as a North pole of a Magnet. So basically when
you talk about the north pole of the magnet it should really be classed as
"Geo-North Seeking". Or the south pole of a magnet is "Geo-South seeking"

I really hope I haven't been wrong all these years!
