Jerry, I can happily live by these requests. May I ask, how religion is being
defined here? Does this include spiritualism, metaphysics, humanism as well
as what appears to be 'targeted' religions such as Catholicism and Christian
protestant variants? Or are only the later to be excluded? I am not trying
to be 'smart' I simply want to know. My understanding initially of Keelynet
was that it was open dialogue for alternative science, new technologies and
health related issues. I did not see any indication that stated these topics
would be interpreted or discussed in accordance with any given 'belief system'.
If the majority of members are of the 'metaphysical' pursuasion then it would
be helpful for me to know this and to understand I am in a minority.

Well this seems a fair request, but what if this isnt always the case?
My concern earlier had only, simply been that some folks were 'tweaking'
scientific discussion with their own 'beliefs' and stating them as facts.
I found this disturbing.

First off I did NOT take us down this path! I only responded to posts which seemed to
be doing this and tried to express my concerns on what they were doing! In fact had the
writer of the above read my posts and spent a modicum of attention to what I was saying,
he / she should have realized this! Additionaly I kept insisting quite clearly that I
did NOT want to get into an endless philosophical diatribe but wanted to get back to
discussing science! Further I did NOT send an mpeg file of ANY kind!

I do not require 'religious philospohy' as a full-time distraction, neither do I want
it foisted upon me by others! I WANT to discuss alt tech, science and health related
issues! How many times must I say this already? Egads!

However I do NOT want new age mysticism preached at me no matter how prettily it may be
wrapped in a quasi-scientific package! A case in point is Dan Winters material! Either
we state that Keelynet IS a metaphysical board that DOES support a given 'religous type of view' held
by a majority or members as it discusses science, which if clearly stated on the home
page would make me more than happy enough to shut up OR if we say no religious
topics which should justly include;/spiritual/witchcraft/humanism (humanism is a religion)
whatever, and ensure that this rule is applied equally across the table to all. If a member
perceives this rule to be broken then we can raise the issue with Jerry.
