Hi Don et al!

I knew a guy here in Dallas who had several devices of this nature
including a 'Graham Potentializer'...he rented time on them and was very
curious so let me take them apart to study the inner workings..

The Potentializer is a bed that is balanced to stay relatively flat
while moving in a large circle on a horizontal axis, like a ferris
wheel.

On either end of the bed are two supports with the driving mechanism and
two white plastic hemispheres. The claim is as the subject is slowly
rotated in and out of the 'influence' of these hemispheres, they are
subjected to a pulsating magnetic field in addition to the physical
motion of the bed moving in the circle.

I took each of these stands apart and the inside of the hemispheres was
coated with a white silicone like caulk, kind of like RTV...various
small pieces of iron filings and what look like metal shavings from any
machine shop were lightly sprinkled across this caulk.

Now the caulk was still rubbery so the metal shavings could all move to
some degree like flies partially caught on flypaper.

The hemisphere was facing outward and mounted on the stand. In the
middle of the stand and the hemisphere was a solenoid coil like a
speaker drive coil. The machine was so interesting because signals were
fed to the coil at various amplitudes and mixes of frequencies, just
like a speaker...as the magnetic field swept outward it causes these
iron filings to reradiate the magnetic fields in some kind of dynamic
magnetic topology. It reminded me of those needles all mounted in a box
which is used to show a 3D contour of an object...except this is showing
it dynamically with magnetism...very slick...

The guy who owns the clinic said he'd talked to Graham and was told he
had all kinds of trouble getting this thing patented? or was it legal to
sell..hmm..been a long time now...but the point was the government says
it is illegal to sell any 'psychoactive' device to consumers...that is
anything which can alter or skew mental patterns.

Graham said heck then cell phones, walkman headsets, etc. would then be
illegal if his machine was, because it was after all only a novel
speaker arrangement...<g>...gotta love this guy...so he convinced them
there were no 'psychoactive' abilities and they let him sell the units.

I must say I failed to try the device at the time...and I regret it ever
since...I figured he would be here a long time and he closed shortly
after to move to another place so I lost touch with him.

So, if you get a chance to try something different or unique, JUMP ON IT
THEN, don't wait, it might not always be available to you.

I did try Peter Kelly's BETAR machine in Georgia and it was most
interesting...bascially a giant open geodesic structure with a platform
that hands in the middle from chains. You lay on the platform and the
machine plays music that you preselect. It is supposed to have sensors
in it that sense the stress level in your body, so using phase conjugate
and scalar type technology, the information from these sensors is phase
adjusted to be cancelled, thereby cancelling the stress...BTW, it is
illegal to claim to be able to resolve or cure stress unless you are a
licensed medico.

As to effects, I 'rode' the BETAR for an hour and had to concentrate to
get my muscles to work afterward, just like laying in one of those
isolation tanks, (which I tried also) that holds 600 pounds of rock salt
suspended in water so you float at 98.7 degrees. You can't move after
its over, not muscles going to sleep with the tingles, but just no
muscle tension..you have to WILL your muscles back into operation..same
thing with the BETAR, but you don't get naked, well, I guess you COULD,
you just lay there in your clothes...the idea for both of these is that
it helps the body to heal and relieves stress to keep you healthier and
to help regenerate...give it a try if you get a chance, its worth the
time for sure...note, the positive effects are cumulative, one shot
won't do you much good healthwise, but do it over and over and people
claim wonders...
