Hi NeXuS,

Yeah.. ever seen those "plasma globes"? If you connect a large light
bulb to a HV output terminal, that's what you get.. I'm not sure
what color the plasma is for argon, I'd have to check.. or maybe someone
on the list might know.. either way, they look pretty cool.. I have
some scanned pages out of a book which explains how to make a simple
plasma globe using a flyback transformer out of an old TV, some PVC
pipe (for the base) and a large light bulb.. (4-5" "designer", spherical
bulbs.. I've seen them at hardware stores for pretty cheap..)

When I get my scanner working again I'll be glad to scan them and
send them to anyone who's interested..
