That's why I preceded it with;

I always though cancer resulted from sustained and aggravated
inflammation, so that could account for part of the shrinking. You do
have a point about polluting the body with too many dead tissues and
toxins that should more appropriately be released slowly, Rome wasn't
built in a day and such a process should be gradual.
