non-digestible pills

Hi Folks!

Something I heard that is a bit gross but interesting nonetheless. A
friend used to have the city concession in Dallas for Port-O-Potties,
for all city functions/activities. He reports that on emptying the
units, they would find large quantities of pills, ranging from
medications to vitamins and in big clumps.

This came up (no pun intended) when discussing how some pills are coated
with what is supposed to be a digestible coating to allow a kind of time
release and get past the awful tast.

In many people today, their digestive systems are compromised and not as
acidic as EXPECTED, so these pills just lie in the lower colon/appendix
to create problems until expelled.

Some of the pills are in the water soluble capsules and these should be
chosen wherever possible to prevent stomach or colon problems from
failure of the body to absorb or expel these pills (whether vitamins or
medication).

One other similarly scatalogical report, I used to see a friend and his
wife at various social events here in the Metroplex...he runs a
'colonics clinic', basically where they give enemas. This friend says
he often finds that people who are long time users of microwaves will
have severely impacted colons and he pulls out long strings of black
stringy, partly dissolved plastic material.

Turns out these people eat sandwiches and such which have been heated
while still in the plastic wrapping. My friend says the moisture and
heat causes the plastic to melt and be partly absorbed into the food
where it is eaten.

I know this to be true, well, the part about melted plastic at
least..<g>...try it, and you will note the chemical taste of the food or
the slightly harder bread on a sandwich cooked in the plastic wrapper..

Since being told this years ago, I make it a habit to remove any food
from its wrapper and place it on a napkin or plate, sometimes putting
another napkin on top to help keep in moisture.

Then again, there is the Swiss researcher who has found that microwave
energy continues to radiate in your food even after being removed from
the oven..

There has been research where blood exposed to UV rays would continue to
re-rediate that UV even though the original stimulation source was
turned off....this is used in the AIDS blood treatment to advantage,
because the irradiated blood recombines with the diseased blood and
continues to radiate and treat it.

So, CHEW YOUR PILLS unless they are in water soluble capsules. You will
note the shiny covering which is expected to be broken down by your
stomach....
