Hi Jerry,

When I first became involved in the search for our 'holy grail' I was open
to every idea and claim that came my way. I like to think I still nurse an
open mind, but experience has taught me, quite often the hard way, that an
open mind is not sufficient for progress in the alt. energy field. Time is
short and there are a billion distractions out there to fritter away a
lifetime. For those who seek the entertainment value in encountering the
weird and bizaar, in terms of claims and theories, there is an ocean of it
in which to swim. Personally, it all wears a bit thin.

I have spent the last couple of decades examining, replicating,
experimenting and researching most of the 'classics', ie: Moray,
Hendershot, Testatica, Coler, Bedini, homopolar generators, Bessler
(current), Sweet, to name just a very few. When I hear people seriously
discussing 'free energy' in terms of it being a proven reality, I have to
smile. In my experience, and in my opinion, there are no present practical
solutions to experimentally demonstrate a 'free energy' device, in the
terms we understand it. This is not good. Have all claimants to success
died with their secret? Bessler did. Keely did. Moray did. Those that
did'nt die with their secret claim conspiracy or sellout or 'the world's
not ready yet' or whatever. Out of all these people and all this work, we
are left empty handed. Why? Why did'nt Keely disclose his secrets - money.
Why did'nt Bessler disclose his secret - money. And Moray - money. Tesla -
money. Ad infinitum. Who needs 'big brother' control groups to control
potential future energy sorces. We've got money to do that, have'nt we.
Those with substanceless claims are allowed to hide behind their want for
money. The 'free energy industry' today is a world wide multi-million
dollar marketplace flogging whatever turns you on without ever having to
prove a thing. That's entertainment.

After being closely associated (now very disassociated) with the preditor
free energy mentality, I know how easy it is to con a thousand people for
20 bucks each. It's a jungle out there and we're all very close to the
bottom of the food chain.

Jerry, I have to say I have a lot of respect for your stand on proofs. IMHO
we all need to take a step back (or forward) and see this marketplace for
what it is. We are wanting (I would hope) to deal with applied science -
entertainment just does'nt cut it.

As for our radioactive man, good luck to him. If he can show me a working
device that is completely safe, I'll buy one. If you're correct in you're
assessment, and I can now better understand your position, then it sounds
like it's just the same old game being played out again.

Like yourself Jerry, I am afflicted with a deep belief (God help me) that
our energy solution awaits us. I believe it will happen, and it will change
our position and relationship with the world when it does. All it takes is
the right mind with the right information at the right time and anything
can be done.

Regards, Bill.

P.S. Why must some people post repititious smartass space consuming remarks
at the end of every email they send? First time - amusing. Second time -
waste of space. eg: "thanks for the info mate", followed by a yard of crap.
