Hi Folks!

The following was sent in by Terry Bastian, I thought I saw something
about that earlier but with damage control on both lists, I've been kind
of busy...check this out;

How to Make Home Made Solar Cells

> take a piece of copper with lots of copper oxide on one
> side. then wash that rusty side with muraitic acid (HCL)
> then wash and rub off all the rust and acid untill you
> have a red layer (cuprous oxide)

> now put wire mesh over the red side and the cover the
> whole red side in a >hollow plastic shell now fill
> the empty space bettween the wire mesh and cover
> with a solution of 95% water and 5% clorox bleach.

> now attach a connection to the wire mesh (this is negative
> connection) and another connection to the back of the
> cell on the normal copper (positive) face the negative
> side at the sun and using a voly meter you should see
> some power made.
