Thanks, Jerry! Some valuable information. I've been collecting scraps
of info on Magic mirrors and Time cameras, I have a webpage whose
specific URL I forget in typical idiot-savant fashion, the site is

Some of what is referred to are the Time Camera designs from ARD-
Sumeria has info on this also- and Amargiland is one net vendor of
Time Camera info.
ARD's device is supposed to rely on a cone-shaped wire coil called a
"counter-magnetic amplifier". Quotes from Andrew Tomas' "We Are Not
The First", and from Pauwels and Bergier are included.
Something I've noted is that in classical occult references, there are
sets of "magical" names to be inscribed on the mirrors in the four
cardinal directions, they usually have peculiar but recurring patterns
of even and odd characters in them. I'm not sure how each of the
resonant cavities represented by the carvings might happen to get
magnetized any certain way, but overall, it reminds me of the patented
unpaired magnetic pole levitator design by Howard Wachpress.
There's a lot of peripheral stuff about Magick Mirrors- being made of
minerals containing iron, crystal balls being annointed with minerals
containing iron, or crystal balls and magic mirrors being "cleansed"
with things like Mugwort, Artemisia vulgaris, which is a "compass
plant" (and a plant that Culpepper devoted to Mars, ruler of Iron,
since the plant had some mysterious preference for growing lushly near
the places of blacksmiths); the leaves of Mugwort align themselves
magnetic north and south...
Which also suggests many of these ancient and "magical" communication
designs are magnetic in nature, although a little of it may be still
somewhat unfamiliar to "conventional" science.
Much of it also suggests that there is a stage not far beyond what
magicians claim to do intuitively or psychically, and uses of the same
instruments that provide anyone a look, regardless of their spiritual
or belief systems.
I suppose it might also be interesting to wonder what resonant mirrors
could do with phase conjugation, if that isn't already implied.
