To my understanding, Reich said Orgone (which comes from orgasm as in
orgonotic pulsation as described in 'the Function of the Orgasm') was a
kind of sexual energy that was associated with life and permeated the
planet, there are lots of views on it, but energy is the one I've most
commonly seen it associted with, since it does seem to be able to
produce effects in other matter, doing work as it were. It could even
be thought of as providing a kind of 'genesis field' for the production
of life.

Often there is nothing in the box. I am uncertain what energy you are
referring to or how it is detected. I know Reich claimed a temperature
difference and Chuck has all the details on that. The claim is the
energy becomes so dense that a thin blue glow appears, Reich even built
an 'orgone detector' that could sense the presence and intensity of this
energy.

It is possible decomposition of the organic material could be producing
methane or some other gas or combination which could glow as in a
willow-the-wisp, but the sometimes used cotton or wool fabric would
certainly show signs of decomposition as if rotting. Though that does
pose a most interesting experiment, to leave a unit assembled for a 6
month period or so, make sure the blue glow appears and take it apart to
examine the organic material to see absolutely if decomposition had
occurred in the organic material.

Now that's an interesting thought, that orgone decomposes matter...hmm,
easy enough to prove....how would this help a sick person?? Perhaps
like leeches relieving high blood pressure..<g>..? Maybe a sick body
has too high or too low an energy and it needs to be stabilized to its
environment...?

Precisely, now we're talking, a motor force.

Why, from the radioactive needle or other source that is placed in the
box, as in this quote from your own original post;

"...a biological energy field that (according to vassilatos) could
be tapped and had a response to " irritants" such as RADIOACTIVE
ELEMENTS. It reacted to these elements by netrualizing them over
a long period. To do this the energy used all of itself (or
resources) with in a wide area. Vassillatos mentions Reich
placing a RADIOACTIVE NEEDLE within the accumulator,......."

Another interesting idea, that a Tesla coil might be somehow associated
with an orgone box. If orgone is an expansive energy, not subject to
being content to remain under pressure (when condensed/accumulated), so
too is electricity under high pressures. What if they work together?

Have you perchance heard of Eric Dollards demonstrations showing a
feathering of electrical discharges over wood? It looks like the path
of synapses...Dollards videos are available from Borderlands at;

http://www.borderlands.com

for something like $29 each. He indicates there is some kind of organic
patterning effect in the discharge of certain types of high voltage
coils, though I'm not clear on what types they are or the conditions
under which these patterns are produced.
