It is always best to base one's opinion on all the facts.
If Vasitaltos gives only the few incomplete details of the
"Oranur Experiment" in his book as you listed in your post,
then he has done all a disservice.

What is omitted are the facts that Reich used "Three" radium needles
in the experiment and there was a small amount of cobalt 64 in one of
the other buildings that inadvertantly contributed to the DOR affects.
The needles were placed into a small (I believe 28 fold) accumulator
which was then placed within a room size accumulator in the lab. The
onset of DOR and DOR sickness began within 24 hrs., and fluctuated
in intensity depending on weather conditions. DOR sickness strongly
resembles radiation sickness, but without the permanent effects.
In order to clean up the situation at the lab, the three radium needles
were sealed in individual lead tubes and placed into a safe along with
the cobalt. I have never seen what preparations were taken to prepare
the cobalt for disposal, I can only assume it was sealed in lead also.
Once the safe was locked, it was sealed in concrete, and once the
concrete hardened, the whole block was taken several miles away
and buried in the ground for several years. When the safe was recovered
and it's contents examined, there were new discoveries made. To
say that there was no radiation is flat wrong and not what Reich
says in his own text.

Sorry, but the amount of radioactivity present in the radium needles was
equal to the amount given off by about a dozen of the old fashioned
"Timex" luminous dial watches.
There is a lot more information available, if people would take the
time to look. Apparently, Gerry Vasitaltos didn't look very hard
or simply chose what he needed to fill a page.
