Yes, specifically I know of 2MHz imagers. My wife had her heart
imaged as an outpatient and they used this ultrasonic unit. I had
asked the technition about the frequency of the transducer knowing that
the higher the frequency the better the resolution but the less it
penitrates.
Acknowledging this, she had told me they use 2MHz. Now if anyone
knows the ISM bands, maybe this frequency(s) would be in it. I can
check this out Monday, when at work - since I'm an Electromagnetic
Engineer - I should know but ....

PS. I remember on Keelynet a man using ultrasound to eleviate pain
in his patients. I had emailed this man on the use of his imager, as it
pulses H-Fields into the body, sort of like a Dirac pulse in nature that
is common for these healing devices - from Rife through PAPIM units.
