The scheduled relocation of the www and email server is turning into the
move from hell! Internic who controls primary DNS in the U.S. is moving
very slowly in getting the DNS name servers changed. When the change is
finally done by Internic it will begin propagating out to the DNS servers
worldwide. In the mean time everything is in place to effect the move but
it is pointless to actually do it until Internic does it's part. At this
point I don't know when Internic will update it's database with the
changes. As soon as I see the changes start to take place at Internic I
will move the server. It could take place any time from now till Monday. I
have no way of knowing when, but when it does the server will be off line
for only a few hours. However you might see a longer period of down time
while the changes propagate to the DNS server used by your ISP. At worst
case it could take up to 3 or 4 days once Internic completes it's changes
before all the DNS servers on the Internet are updated.
