I've been thinking about something like this for kitchen stuff
for a couple years now, but for plastics, glass, etc. one idea for
glass was to crush and melt it, and use it for making lab equipment
or parts for prototypes. tubing, etc. same with some metals.

never really thought about *how* to do this, though I probably could
come up with an easy solution for the glass and plastic at least,
just thought it'd be neat to have.. I really like the paper one
tho, I go through a lot of paper.. That'd be excellent for schools
and offices as well, cause they waste way more paper than I do...
