A friend of mine has one of these. We set it all up; getting the magnetic
base level, adding various weights to the levitron so it wouldn't fly off
and/or wouldn't be too heavy. I'm positive that we had that sucker going
for longer than 2 minutes (could be wrong). In the end we usually walked
away for a time and watched tv, waiting to hear the bang when it hit the
table.
It was a while ago (circa a year back) and I can't remember which way we
spun it.
