Received this interesting post about using IR to excite water that is
ingested to promote healing in the body;

I was browsing the web and came across your Keelynet site. I'm not too
sure who Keely was but the topics on your page interested me and brought
to mind something my dad told me recently.
My father is an environmental consultant who often works with large
companies such as ***************. He helps them by giving them a market
strategy that is profitable while at the same time good for
consumers and the environment.
A while back when I was chatting with him he told me of some work that
Monsanto was doing with infrared light. Apparently, when water is
irradiated with high intensity IR light, its chemical stucture changes
slightly in that it creates ions in the water (what ions I'm not exactly
sure of). These ions are supposed to bond to the free radicals that
exist in our body and make them inert.
Although I don't know the science behind how free radicals affect
health, I do know that their existence in our body is not a good thing
to say the least.
The basic jist that my dad told me is that this could revolutionize
preventative medicine and may actually have applications to fighting
disease. Other methods could be employed to have similar effects as the
irradiated water; one could directly intercept the IR light with their
body and gain the benefits it has to offer since our bodies are 70 (80?)
percent water.
Imagine, one could have a little hand-held IR filament (not unlike Star
Trek) and actually help to alleviate some ailments.
