I posted this earlier. No response from the list, thought that maybe it
did'nt get through so am posting it again. My understanding is that this is
what Laithwaite was working on up to his death. Very important paper with a
world of questions clarified about spinning masses, precession and
'reactionless' translation of mass through space.
IMHO the most important breakthrough in mechanics in the last 300 years.
