I just pick it up as I go along. Much of this stuff you won't find discussed
in standard establishment material.

Have a look around the Net. Sometimes you find lessons put up for other
classes, there's often pages dedicated to specialty areas. Find a node, a
list that directs you to other pages on certain areas (like Bill Beaty's
page - he's got a brilliant page) and you can make up your own book :)

accepted by the majority of scientists/wise men. That doesn't mean its
right. Like the Sphinx - that has been eroded by water. But no geologist or
