Garrett,

I've been to his sight several times. Never have gotten around to
purchasing
anything though. I could use a mileage increase. I get about 9mpg. I
would be
very interested to hear what your experiences/results are when you get
into it.
I've never tried it, but vaporizing fuel makes a lot of sense. Liquid
fuel
doesn't burn (from what I've heard). Seems like I've read at various
sites that
vapor is what you want to put into the cylinders. Propane is supposed
to have 1/3
of the BTUs but delivers only slightly less gas mileage. Seems that
most of the
gas is going out the exhaust. A lot of people who have tried vaporizing
fuel have
trouble with having a tar/STP like sludge at the bottom of the
vaporizing tank.
Cool vaporizing pulls the lighter volatiles out and leaves some of the
heavies
behind. On one of the Keely mirrors there is a file (gfilter.asc) that
shows how
to make a filter using activated charcoal that might remove most of the
heavies so
that you won't have as many problems with sludge. I've considered
building
something for vaporization but have not had the time. Plus it's too
cold out in
the garage <g> this time of year. Let us all know what your results
are. George
seems to be respected on all the sights I've been to. Still, it would
be nice to
see someone verify his results.
