[Of course, the real reason for high coverage is to get rid of any healthy unvaccinated kids that would stick out, eg the Amish kids, don't want too many of them showing up the fact vaccines cause autism.]
"The reason vaccinations are promoted with such intensity is to prevent people from realising that vaccines do not protect and also in the event of an outbreak or an epidemic the vaccinated are as much at risk of becoming infected as the unvaccinated. The truth can be kept hidden if people's vaccination status remains unknown and if everyone is vaccinated, making a comparison with unvaccinated people impossible. This is also the real reason for the relentless push to vaccinate as many children as possible."-- Dr Buchwald (The Decline of Tuberculosis despite "Protective" Vaccination by Dr. Gerhard Buchwald M.D. p101)
Interesting - so these scientists are saying that 25%-30% coverage protects
the "herd"? So why do they insist 95% coverage is necessary for humans....?
Ho hum...

Vaccine's the right medicine for rare wolf
EDINBURGH University scientists have helped to develop a targeted
vaccination scheme that will help save threatened species from extinction.
The researchers, working with colleagues from Oxford and Glasgow
universities, said animals such as the Ethiopian wolf, the world's most
endangered member of the dog family, could be protected.
Instead of immunising entire populations, the scientists said they have
shown that vaccinating about 25-30 percent of Ethiopian wolves could reduce
the number of animals dying from rabies.
Dr Karen Laurenson, a co-author of the study - published in science journal
Nature - from the University of Edinburgh, said: "We've shown that the
vaccination of wildlife is a safe method of reducing extinction threats."
