13-year-old girl was diagnosed with Acute Pancreatitis, spent nearly 100 days in
the hospital, and underwent two surgeries to remove Pseudocysts. Her family
filed a petition for vaccine compensation seeking damages from the government.

Acute pancreatitis may result from viral infections, including mumps,
coxsackie B, Epstein-Barr, and varicella. However, viral pancreatitis has not been
reported after immunization with viral vaccines. We report the occurrence of acute
pancreatitis in an adult who had received measles, mumps, and rubella II vaccine (MMR II).
