I have read your information regarding vaccines with great interest.

I am now 51 year old, but I was given the polio vaccine as a child and I could not move my legs for 6 weeks after.  I never had a vaccination since. 

I am about to go and stay in India (South) for six months to do a course, and went to ask about Malarial tabelets, the travel nurse at the pratice where I live tried to talk me into having about 20 different vaccinations including rabies.  I went to make sure that they were not compulsory and explained the above reaction I had, but she just told me to have them.

However I did not have any, so she gave me some severe warnings.

Then I have just come home and read your site, which made me feel better that I have made the right decision.
