All propaganda ploys are slides in that they distract the mind with fear in Fearmongering, seduce it with Authority & Company men (shills), and set up pre arranged thinking patterns with the term "conspiracy" in word game/Ad Hominem and so on. All stop you thinking about the information and distract you down a slide. Of course, it is easy when we Trust authority and would rather stay in the child like state than wake up to the real reality.]
