"Truth has to be repeated constantly, because Error also is being preached all the time, and not just by a few, but by the multitude. In the Press and Encyclopaedias, in Schools and Universities, everywhere Error holds sway, feeling happy and comfortable in the knowledge of having Majority on its side."----Goethe

"The machinery looks good, the technology seems nice, the stainless steel is shiny, everything smells like isopropyl alchohol; I mean they are the greatest salesmen in the world. We're going to go look back at this century and we're going to laugh eventually, but we'll cry first. This is one of the most barbaric periods. It's going to be called the Dark Ages of Medicine."----Dr Shulze (The Sam Biser Herbal Video Collection p198)
Activating thermogenesis is the most
effective way to lose fat, regardless of the cause. Doing so, allows a
person to burn fat without exercise. Activating thermogenesis can be
done by consuming certain foods or nutritional supplements.
The most important way to activate thermogenesis is by abstaining from sugar (sucrose and fructose), artificial flavors (aspartame and sucralose) and high glycemic index (GI) foods. To further simplify, a person could simply stop drinking soda, this includes diet soda. All of the aforementioned factors block your body's ability to burn fat. As a result, your body only burns carbohydrates while storing fat. I call it a biochemical nightmare. Over time, the nightmare is irreversible and results in what is known as insulin resistance. Between 1992 and 1996, FDA
prohibited companies that sell folic acid from telling women of childbearing age
that .4 mg of folic acid daily before pregnancy could reduce the incidence of
neural tube defects (including spina bifida and encephaly) by 40%. FDA’s
censorship contributed to a preventable 10,000 neural tube defect births.
Between 1994 to 2000, FDA prohibited companies that sell omega-3 fatty acids from telling Americans that those fatty acids found in fish oil could reduce the risk of coronary heart disease by as much as 50%. FDA’s censorship contributed to a preventable 1.8 million sudden death heart attacks.
Between 2000 and the present, FDA prohibits companies that sell saw palmetto extract (the fruit of the dwarf American palm tree) from telling Americans that saw palmetto reduces enlarged prostates and relieves related symptoms. Approximately 50% of all men age 50 and older suffer from enlarged prostates and are denied access to this information.
Between 2000 and the present, FDA prohibits companies that sell glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate from telling Americans that those dietary ingredients treat osteoarthritis and relieve osteoarthritic pain and stiffness. Approximately 20 million Americans suffer needlessly from osteoarthritis. StopFDACensorship.org - FDA and Health Freedom Protection Act

Nortin Hadler says he would sue any doctor who tried to test his cholesterol. Likewise, his bone density, prostate levels, colon cells, etc. The Harvard-trained doc, now in his sixties and a rheumatologist and professor of medicine and microbiology/immunology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, says you, too, should avoid these routine tests, as well as most angioplasties, bypass surgeries and routine mammograms. That's because -- contrary to what the medical establishment tells you -- the tests and procedures don't extend most lives, he says; they just convince healthy people they're sick. Skip These Tests?
In 1983, 809,000 cesarean sections (21% of live births) were performed in the
US, making it the nation's most common obstetric-gynecologic (OB/GYN) surgical
procedure. The second most common OB/GYN operation was hysterectomy (673,000),
followed by diagnostic dilation and curettage of the uterus (632,000). In 1983,
OB/GYN procedures represented 23% of all surgery completed in the US.
In 2001, cesarean section is still the most common OB/GYN surgical procedure. Approximately 4 million births occur annually, with 24% (960,000) delivered by cesarean section. In the Netherlands, only 8% of births are delivered by cesarean section. This suggests 640,000 unnecessary cesarean sections—entailing three to four times higher mortality and 20 times greater morbidity than vaginal delivery—are performed annually in the US.
The US cesarean rate rose from just 4.5% in 1965 to 24.1% in 1986. Sakala contends that an “uncontrolled pandemic of medically unnecessary cesarean births is occurring.”(106) VanHam reported a cesarean section postpartum hemorrhage rate of 7%, a hematoma formation rate of 3.5%, a urinary tract infection rate of 3%, and a combined postoperative morbidity rate of 35.7% in a high-risk population undergoing cesarean section.
