THE OUTPUT IS A MODIFIED SQUARE WAVE THAT RUN ALMOST ANYTHING INCLUDING COMPUTERS AND MONITORS.

 

MOST PARTS IN THIS CIRCUIT CAN BE SUBSTITUTED WITH OTHER SIMILAR PARTS…EXAMPLES ARE:

 

OPTO COUPLERS, MOSFETS, MAIN POWER TRANSFORMER, DIODES, ETC…

 

DON’T BE AFRAID TO EXPERIMENT WITH DIFFERENT VALUES TO OBTAIN BETTER EFFICIENCY AND MORE STABLE OUTPUT.

Try this:

 

50 turns 20ga magnet wire center tapped as the primary.

250 Turns 14-12ga magnet wire as the secondary.

All wrapped on a common laminated iron transformer form.

 

THIS CIRCUIT CAN BE MADE MUCH SIMPLER BY SIMPLY REPLACING THE PULSE FORMING CIRCUIT INVOLVING IC4 AND IC5 WITH A SIMPLE 2 TRANSISTOR PUSH PULL MULTIVIBRATOR CIRCUIT CONNECTED TO IC7A AND IC8A…OF COURSE TIMED FOR PROPER 60HZ OUTPUT.
