THE NEW-ENERGY EDUCATIONAL CHALLENGE
A two-hour video presentation on many of the Public Broadcasting System stations on April 18, 2000 was titled, "What's Up With The Weather?". After considerable discussion of how global warming was being measured, it was decided that global warming was a fact and was tied to the industrialization by mankind. Various alternative energies were discussed including wind power, solar power, and nuclear power. The program stated that, to meet the future needs for power for the people of the world without burning fossil fuels, it would require that wind and solar energy devices be installed over nearly all of the arable land area of the world.
The further development of nuclear energy also has its limitation: the lack of sufficient amounts of uranium. In addition, the spokesperson for Greenpeace stated strong objections to the production of further high-level radioactive wastes. The same Greenpeace spokesperson also stated objections to the use of windmills because of the observed bird kill.
The narrator explained that there is no known energy development that can replace the burning of fossil fuels. This is an amazing and, of course, highly-inaccurate statement. With all of the work that went into the development of this energy video, one would think that someone would be more aware of the various developments and patents related to new-energy sources. In particular, one would expect that someone would know about the latest patent issued to Dr. Randell Mills and BlackLight Power, Inc. and the several patents on high-density charge clusters that have issued during the past decade.
This video production does an excellent job in describing the energy problems and presents the lack of information about new-energy solutions. Therefore, the video is a challenge to the Journal of New Energy and any other new-energy-related publications, that a great deal of energy education is needed. Of course, we understand that there are organizations that have branded some of the new-energy developments as being "voodoo science" because of the possible threat to current nuclear energy projects.
The Journal of New Energy and other respected publications reporting of new-energy developments need more than the printed word. A relatively simple demonstration device that can produce excess energy is needed. Emerging Energy Marketing Firm, Inc. (EEMF) has announced their objective to produce just such a device. Some of the funds being invested in EEMF will be used to develop, as soon as possible, a new type of "vacuum tube" in which the high-density charge clusters can be created, and used to create an energy output from a specific measurable energy input. The objective will be to have a simple device that can be measured to show that such a device can delivery more energy out than input energy.
