Commentary on the Death of Bruce dePalma

Total truth is necessary.
You must live by what you say.
Men will hate you for telling the truth.
They will call you names. They may even kill you,
but you must always tell the truth.
If you live in truth, God will always stand with you

- Neem Karoli Baba

I heard that Bruce dePalma had crossed over from Paramahamsa Tewari. Tewari told me that dePalma had bleed to death internally. This was not a surprise considering the condition that I had seen Bruce in when I visited him in December of 1993. Bruce began each day upon arising, some time before noon, with fine wine mixed with sparkling water. Years of alcohol and substance abuse finally took its toll.

I had wanted to ask Bruce a question before he died, but my last letter sent to him had come back "address unknown".

I got the new address and phone number from Tewari and called Andrew Mount in New Zealand. Zealand. Andrew went into a rage and yelled and screamed at me over the phone and accused me of being part of the control groups who want to suppress free energy. He spoke as if Bruce was still here with us and said that I had violated Bruce's wish that the video I made during my visit to him in 1993 was to be given to Tewari and only Tewari. I tried to apologize for any misunderstanding but he said I could never make it up and that I would be cursed by my actions until death. I had not been able to show the video to Tewari when I visited him because it was made on Hi-8 format and we had only a short time together. When I made the video it was made with the understanding that it was to document Bruce's work and that it might be used in a documentary about free energy. Some of the footage that I shot on my trip was used in a documentary recently released called "Free Energy, The Race to Zero Point". The video includes footage I shot in Japan with Inomata and footage I shot in India with Tewari.

Andrew and Bruce accused me, Pat Bailey, and the Institute for New Energy, by name and insinuated that all of the free energy organizations in the United States were nothing but front organizations for the suppression of free energy. This included anyone who ever worked in aerospace or for academic institutions, the government, or military. Andrew and Bruce among a host of other accusations declared that the INE web page, http:\\www.padrak.com/ine/, was the worst example of tabloid journalism on the net.

Andrew is right now a very frightened young man. His financial means of support, his mentor, and lover, are gone. He is in a state of shock heightened by grief over Bruce's departure from this plain. Hopefully Bruce is now in a calmer state of mind than he ever experienced during life. We can only pray for both of them.

There is a lot more to this story than has ever been told, including the real reasons that dePalma went to New Zealand. As close as you can get in print to the real story of dePalma and the N-machine is told in a book by Tom Valone in a chapter called "The Real Story of the N-Machine". Tom knows a lot more about it than what he wrote down. Ironically, Tom accused me of suppressing his paper in flyers he passed out and in talks he made at various new age conferences.

Bruce inspired many researchers in the field of free energy during his life. Tewari credits him for providing the impetus to refine his 1977 hypothesis constructing the universe of matter and the medium of space with a single mobile entity (fluid substance) and with spurring him on to develop a new series of N-Machine designs. The Kahn-Trombly design and research efforts followed the work of dePalma. (For the record, there is no evidence that the Kahn-Trombly device was ever tested over unity.)

The mystique and enigma that encircled the life of Bruce dePalma was due in part to the fact that he was never able to prove his theories with a working over unity device. The last machine he built in New Zealand was thoroughly tested and the output was found to be less than unity. The complete test report is available from the Institute for new Energy c/o Hal Fox, PO Box 58639, Salt Lake City, UT 84158-8639.

Sadly all this drama trauma is of little or no concern to the soul when it comes time to leave this world. Most of what we spend our time doing is of little use when it comes to the moment of death. To understand life it is necessary also to understand death. In this culture little or no time is spent attempting to understand the purpose of our lives or what we are here for. For those wishing to understand more about life and our purpose, I recommend the "Tibetan Book of Living and Dying" by a contemporary Tibetan master, Sogyal Rinpoche

The following words of wisdom are helpful also. They could have been written by a Buddhist monk, but they were written by a Catholic Nun.

Mother Teresa's Prayer

Deliver me O Jesus
From the desire of being loved,
From the desire of being extolled,
From the desire of being honored,
From the desire of being praised,
From the desire of being preferred,
From the desire of being consulted,
From the desire of being approved,
From the desire of being popular,
From the fear of being humiliated,
From the fear of being despised,
From the fear of suffering rebukes,
From the fear of being calumniated,
From the fear of being forgotten,
From the fear of being wronged,
From the fear of being ridiculed,
From the fear of being suspected.
