Hi Ken et al!

No, I hate conformity and being forced to BELIEVE 'facts'
that are not proven in a classroom...nothing wrong with
education or training...gotta make a living but I won't be
fixated on what just 'can't be done'...because it the
proposed experiment is 'too simple' or has been done many
times before and is 'well known' and 'understood'....

James Bailey points out the 'watering down' of physics and
how many schools simply teach from the book and don't show
the students the actual experiment to back it up. Nothing
like show and tell.

I think anomalies such as the TOMI should also be presented
to show kids that there are things not currently understood
or adequately investigated to be used.

My preference completely and I'm sure everyone has their own
views about it...

This thread was about aether, with little or no effort made
to look up current or historical thinking about it.

To date there is no definitive ACCEPTABLE proof, in my view,
but others might feel differently....many of the anomalies
are just glossed over by academics and engineers....in this
forum, they are worth investigation as sign posts that could
lead to entirely new discoveries.

I notice Bill McMurtry unsubscribed after a post I made
decrying the negativity made by some towards promoting
experimentation, even if it is simple and 'well understood'
as not workable or not yielding anything new.

Sorry to see him leave, but if no one experiments or shares
information,

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE of this discussion list???
