EMI - Black Magic.. overunity

Alcon,

As I have worked mainly in Electromagnetic Environmental Effects on
Navy ships there are many many situations which may look overunity
when in fact are not.

Here are a few off the top of my head that you may find interesting.

Transmitting HF on a Minesweepers at 1000Watts and measuring the current
at the antenna base and measuring 5 or more 'hot' cables inside the ship
gave at least twice as much current on inside cables as the antenna base.
This was due to resonance in the cables at HF where current can peak,
and voltages can dip or vice versa.

Black magic... flushing a toilet on hydrofoils crashed them off their
foils. This was due to transients from a pump motor cable along side
a control cable... cable coupled energy and upset the stabilizer.

An ATM machine when irradiated with certain frequencies gave cash!
This of course is classified.. the exact frequency. I might add that
it was EMI hardened to the susceptible frequency.

Harmonic current burnout. An EMI filter was placed on a radar power
supply to eliminate the high conducted currents, and when the system
was powered up, the power supply fried the electronics inside the
radar. This was due to 180 degree phase change in the switching power
supply and caused it to become unstable and oscillate on its own thus
supplying high voltage output and burnout.

HF transmission at certain frequencies shut down the ships machinery
control system. This was due to HF susceptibility to the ship control
sensor units. Pressure transducers are very susceptible.

When transmitting HF again, a Cruiser shattered a window transmitting
HF. This of course could not be duplicated and was a fluke. Until
a DDG-51 Aegis Destroyer destroyed two windows when transmitting HF.
This was a real problem and engineers tracked it down to a susceptible
window heater circuit. some filters placed on it and solved the problem.
You would think some rectified modulated electroacoustical signal
caused this? But nope simple fix.

Another one that is recent dealt with a policeman in the UK. He was
using his radar gun around mountain curve and to check speeds of
cars when he used it on a one car and read over 100mph! He aimed it
away from the car and it still registered it only now 300mph! He aimed
it back and still got some funny readings. Later in the news it was
reported that a jet fighter in that area had a situation where his automatic
weapon system locked RAM missile onto a target to shoot it down and he
had to manually disengage the weapon system. This is what the officer
reported as a target moving some 300+ mph. EMI?? Whow!

Susceptibility of house power meters to certain frequencies where one
can even turn back the meter when still providing power to the house.
A simple circuit can be constructed to scan 1kHz to 20kHz (VCO) and
with a MOSFET and capacitors feed the signal back through the power
meter and overpower the 3 linear motors reversing the direction by
inducing a higher frequency (E=h * lambda) and energy into the motors.
(Lee scam??)

Just some interesting note. Hope you find them interesting?
